Hot Pepper
Blacklisting of Hot Pepper Casino
Here at Online Casino Conditions, we have always made it
a policy to only provide our readers with reviews of
online casinos who are in compliance on several
regulatory fronts. At a minimum, these include proper
licensing from the industry's credited gaming
commissions (UK, Gibraltar, Alderney, Antigua etc..),
usage of fairness certified software (Microgaming, Vegas
Technology, Cryptologic etc..), auditing by reputable
third parties (Price Waterhouse Coopers, Jacobson
Gaming, CFT etc..), secure payment processing through
financial processors and SSL encryption providers (VeriSign,
ProcCyber Services) and acceptable payout verification
and percentage reports.
However, just because a casino
has met all of these credentials, does not mean they are
still worthy of being recommended to players. Just as
important as having the proper regulation credentials,
is having an excellent customer service department.
That being said, we recently made the decision to
blacklist Hot Pepper Casino. A relatively new casino,
Hot Pepper certainly has all of the aforementioned
"exterior" credentials. At the time of our review of Hot
Pepper Casino, considering they had no complaints
against them and were new to the scene, we gave their
customer service an acceptable rating. However, since
that time, Hot Pepper management has acted in a
questionable manner that is yet to be resolved.
When any business says they are
going to do something, but then does nothing about it,
or even worse, when a business does what they say they
were going to do, but then goes back and discreetly
undoes what they did to begin with, this type of
behavior should raise some
warning flags with anyone doing business with them. In
the case of Hot Pepper Casino, they have been found to
cease from honoring their end of a business agreement.
Although not specifically affecting any players, the
question certainly arises that if Hot Pepper management
has been found to go against their word, what is going
to stop them from doing so with their players?
Considering these actions, (when nothing
holds more weight than player trust), we have decided to
remove our review of Hot Pepper Casino and place
them on our Casinos Blacklist until further notice.
