The regret of losing something you could have won is too much to deal with if you are an easily satisfied gambler. Once you hit your winning amount, pocket that money and then gamble the leftover to fill up the rest of the evening (even if all your money is in the slot machine, just gamble it down to how many credits that winning limit corresponds to, and then cash out).

If you are still worried about what you are going to do with the rest of your evening, take the money you have won and have an evening on the town. Here's another idea - Head out to your favorite store and buy that hi-tech toy you have been eyeing for some time, take it home and make and evening learning how it works! Heck, you could even decide to do all of your Christmas shopping, no matter the season of year. If you are a procrastinator, this could really help you out when Christmas Eve is staring you in the face! The possibilities are endless.

The bottom line is to pocket your winnings and to never succumb to the pressure of gambling more when you are satisfied with your winnings.
