Casino Players Cards That Offer Much More

If you are a regular Las Vegas casino gambler (even if it's only once a year), it cannot be overestimated how important it is to gamble with a casino player's card. No matter how little you spend, or how infrequently you actually gamble, making sure that you use your Player's Card to get credit every time you place a bet is more advantageous than you might think.

Most bettors know that earning casino comp points usually translates into free snacks and meals, bonus offers, room upgrades, free hotel stays, etc. Aside from the free hotel stays (who wouldn't want that), many gamblers feel that a free meal or a cup of coffee is just simply not worth the time and effort it takes to obtain a player's card or get one's bets verified when gambling at the tables (See previous Conditions Tip Getting Casino Comps For Every Wager).

In actuality, getting signed with a comp acount only takes a few minutes, not to mention that doing so entitles one to more than the previous mentioned perks. One of the greatest advantages a Player's Card can give is when you use it as a bargaining tool for your next visit.

When booking a resort room ahead of time, simply tell the casino resort booking agent that you used your card at your last visit (it does not matter how much you gambled), and depending on the resort's policy, you may get a reduced rate or even a free stay.

Some gamblers have recounted how they tried to book a room through a travel agent only to be informed there were no availabilities. However, after calling the casino directly and speaking to their Marketing Deparment, were not only able to book rooms, but were able to do so at even better rates. The bottom line is that a Casino Player's Card is a resort's way of getting gamblers to come back. The more perks they can offer, the more seats they know they will fill.
