Percentage Limits on Losses Work
Best
One cannot overstate the
importance of putting away winnings during a
gambling session. In a land-based casino, the
act of stashing away one's winnings can be easier to
accomplish than gambling online affords. All
one has to do is pocket all of their winning chips,
while imposing enough discipline to only gamble what
they have started out with.
On the computer, however, this can be harder to
accomplish since all earnings are intangible.
On the internet, there are no chips to set aside or
a lock box to put one's cash in. On the other
hand, there is only a virtual account displayed on
the computer screen. It is much easier to lose
track of winnings and start tapping into what one
has already won from earlier games.
The best way to avoid doing this is to set a
predetermined percentage of loss per gambling
session, rather than a specific amount. For
instance a 30% percentage loss would mean that a
gambler with an initial bankroll of $100 should quit
when their bankroll reaches $70. However, if
the bankroll reaches up to $200, the quitting
point should be 30% of this sum, which equates to
$140.
Just keep track of you top winning point
and set the percentage loss at that time. You
are way more likely to end your session on top.
