Casino Gambling Strategies in
General
Most casino gamblers play with
strategy in some type of capacity or another.
This could be a specific game strategy for craps, or
it might be a money management strategy. In
most situations, at least for serious gamblers more
concerned with making money in the long-term rather
than hitting the large jackpot, gamblers play with
several strategies at one time - often creating
their own personal strategy that works best for
them.
In general, the intention of game strategies is
to keep players as close to the minimum Casinos
Advantage (House Edge) as close as possible for that
game. This means that a game with a 2% House
Edge should bring a $3 loss for every $100 wagered
at that game. However, this ratio only
manifests in the long run, for their are short term
fluctuations which send the Law of Averages into a
tail spin.
The point to remember is that you should always
stick to your strategy no matter what. Just
because you have lost your first four hands at the
blackjack table does not mean your strategy is not
doing what its supposed to do. You could just
as easily win the next five hands.
Remember, luck is a large part of the game. If you
are on a bad-luck streak, it is best to walk away
from the table and take a break. Come back
later and put your strategy back into action.
If it is a proven strategy to deliver as close to
the minimum House Edge as possible, it will come
through for you sooner or later.
