Using Perfect
Casino Strategy at Three-Card PokerWhen it comes to in-depth gambling strategies for online casino games, some are
so complex they are best mastered by beginning with a simpler form of the
strategy itself. Aptly called simple strategy's, these are well fitted to
beginning gamblers, or simply, for those whose math skills are like the majority
of players - in need of some serious brushing up. Simple strategy is a stepping
stone of sorts that will not only help a player gain valuable momentum against
the Casinos Edge, it will reinforce one's understanding of the rules and
possibilities the game affords.
The most complex forms of gambling strategy's
are those which are mathematically perfect - often called perfect strategy.
While games like blackjack and craps are best learnt by starting with a simple
strategy, there is one game that can be played with a mathematically perfect
strategy because it is so easy to learn and incorporate.
This game is called
Three-Card Poker, and it can be found at many land-based and online casinos. A
player using this strategy really only has three decisions to make: The money
amount one puts down for the ante, whether or not to make the Pair Plus wager,
and whether to fold one's hand and lose the ante bet or to play the hand through
to the end.
Using the perfect strategy for Three-Card Poker, since this is a
negative expectation game, the numbers say that the more money one bets, the
more one will lose. Therefore, bet the lowest minimum ante that is possible.
As
for the Pair Plus bet, this is optional, because there is no strategy that can
be used to help it pay off. It is based entirely on luck, and as such, most
players would advise to cease from making it.
The most strategic decision
making, rather, should be in regards to folding the hand or putting one's ante
at risk of being lost to the casino. The answer is quite simple. Perfect
mathematical strategy says that a player's best long-term odds are gained when
any hands lower than a Q64 are folded. Therefore, a K64 or Q63 etc. should
always be folded.
