While it is true that slot machines are the most popular
game at both online casino sites and land based casinos, and
that blackjack is the king of the table games, there are a
handful of poker table games that have been growing
increasingly popular with bettors.
Thanks to the
popularity of Texas Hold'em Poker tournaments and the
professional poker circuit, poker table games have been
catching more attention from casino gamblers. Thus, we
have decided to present a series of tips offering
summarized rules of four popular poker table games: Let it
Ride Poker, Caribbean Stud Poker, Three Card and Four Card
Poker.
We shall begin our series with the rules of Let it
Ride Poker. Played on a table that resembles the blackjack
layout, Let it Ride is a simple game to learn.
Each player
has three circles directly in front of them on the table.
One circle has a number 1 in it, while the other two are
correspondingly marked with a number 2 and a dollar sign
($).
Games begin with players setting bets in each circle.
Each player is then dealt three cards, followed by a
single discard and the dealer being dealt two facedown
cards. Each player must then decide whether to take down
their first bet in Circle 1 or to "Let it Ride". After all
players have done so, the first of the two facedown cards
in front of the dealer (community cards) is turned over,
thus making up the fourth card of each players hand. Each
player must then decide to take back their second bet out
of Circle 2 or to "Let it Ride". Finally, the second of
the two community cards is turned over and all five-card
poker hands are paid out according to the pay table.
Please note that the third bet cannot be taken back -
Therefore, at least one bet will "ride" every hand. Also,
players cannot put the first or second bet back up after
being taken down, nor take down bets after letting them
ride.
Let it Ride Poker can
be played at all the online casinos reviewed here at
