Customer Service at an Online Casino is a Two-Sided Coin
by Colby Lewis, Strategy and Games Writer

Customer service is certainly an important factor when choosing an online casino to open a real money gaming account with. However, players should not confuse good customer service with the common phrase "the player is always right". The reason we say this is that many players can be downright rude and obnoxious when dealing with customer service at a gambling site, oftentimes misinformed about terms and conditions or the crux of the matter.

We often receive emails from players stating that an online casino has not replied to an email, usually in regards to getting paid out. Not to downplay getting paid out, for a casino that does not rightfully pay a player is a casino that should be avoided, it is worth mentioning that many players do not understand how to properly go about getting paid their rightful winnings.

For one, all online casinos are now being faced with more challenges these days when it comes to paying players out quickly. Depending on your payment method used, bank account or place of residence, some of the quicker payout methods can no longer be used. Or if they can, the time it takes to process them takes a little bit longer than before.

At Online Casino Conditions, we are very optimistic this trend will be changing soon as the industry becomes more internationally regulated on a unified scale. In the meantime, however, players need to exercise patience and trust that if signed up with an online gaming site that we have personally endorsed, they will get paid.

Those instances in which a player has reported neglect from a gaming site, i.e., unanswered emails, nine times out of ten the player has been very rude - oftentimes bordering harassment. These players then act shocked because customer service has not replied to an obnoxiously berating email on the turn of a dime. Furthermore, many of these instances warrant the casino to investigate the matter or to try implementing alternative solutions they would not otherwise normally do to help resolve a problem.

Again, patience on the player's part is key here. Remember, the customer is not always right. Nor is the casino. When dealing with customer service at a trusted gaming site (any of those listed on our online casino reviews page), offer them the same courtesy that is given to you, and always grant them the benefit of the doubt when concerns arise.
