Following our previous tip regarding internet bingo rooms, we thought it
would be helpful to introduce casino bettors to the gaming options and software
features available at leading bingo rooms such as
BingoWorkz. Assuming you are
already familiar with how bingo is played and won, we would now like to put
emphasis on the options that players can expect to find while inside a bingo
room lobby.
After logging into the software platform, which is the same process
as that used at online casinos, players will find themselves in the lobby. Here
is where different bingo games/lounges can be accessed by simply clicking on the
game name; i.e. "Fair N' Square Bingo", "Free Bingo" or "High Rollers Bingo".
Once on the main playing screen, players will then have the option to view the
games schedule and buy cards.
Purchasing cards can normally be done in the
Pre-Buy mode or Auto-Buy mode. The Pre-Buy mode allows players to buy cards
beforehand, which can then be used as one sees fit. Up to 100 cards can usually
be played on a single game of bingo. Depending on the card prices (ten cents,
fifty cents, one dollar), the total wager on a single game will vary.
You may be
wondering how somebody could possibly keep track of 100 bingo cards at a single
time. Well, they don't - This is the job of the gaming software, just as it is
the job of online casino software to automatically update picks on a keno card.
As bingo numbers are being drawn, the software automatically updates every card
accordingly. For those cards which have a number match, the number is
highlighted on the card and a small text message on each card stating how many
more numbers are needed to hit "BINGO" is updated. The software also color-codes
each card to reflect how close it is to becoming a winner.
Understandably, all
one-hundred cards cannot be viewed at once. Rather, something like four to nine
cards will be viewable at a single time. Again, the software automatically moves
the top performing cards to the front of the pack, while allowing other multiple
groups of nine cards to be viewed by clicking on a corresponding link (much like
viewing multiple pages of search engine results).
When the drawing is finished
and a winner/winners are declared, payouts are made and all cards are deleted.
Players are automatically issued brand new cards for additional games. This is
how bingo games are played out (not too much different than games at casinos).
In our next tip, we will explore more playing options and features found at
internet bingo rooms.
