Locating Tight Slot Machines in the Casino

Just as there undeniably are loose slot machines in the casino, there are tight machines as well.  While loose machines are typically located in high-traffic areas of the casino, such as near the cashier or crosswalks, tight machines are typically located in those areas receiving as much exposure from passersby

In order to track down where the tight machines are, players must try to think like the casino.  First of all, remember that casinos often move their machines around, and so you will not find the same loose slot in the exact spot you played it last time.

As for locating tight machines, a simple walkthrough should be telling enough to know where the majority of players frequent. It is commonly thought that casinos will place tighter machines near casino entrances, considering the original plan of putting loose machines at entrances backfired because players would not venture deeper within the casino.

Other places to be weary of tight machines are near the table games (since most players at the tables are not regular slot players) near sports betting areas, (again, sports bettors typically are not interested in slot machines) and lastly, near ticket lines for shows (these people usually have retired their gambling hats for the evening, and so putting a loose machine here would probably just raise an eyebrow at most).

The bottom line is to look for machines near areas where - even if they did get positive exposure - a heightened interest to play the machines would not be generated.
