Transparent Online Casinos in the Truest Sense of the Word
by Colby Lewis, Strategy and Games Writer

You may have heard the term "transparent" used to reference an online casino. Indeed, to someone who has never heard this phrase used in correspondence to a gaming site, the idea of a "see-through" casino does represent something of an anomaly. Notwithstanding an ability for deductive reasoning, you are correct to say that a transparent gaming site is one in which the back-end operations are open to the public eye. How open, you ask? Well, that is precisely what needs to be clarified.

Some internet gamblers simply think that a transparent gaming site is one which gives players unrestricted access to their personal account information and banking details. And while this is true, transparent online casinos - in the most comprehensive sense of the word - are those in which practically everything is openly divulged.

Obviously, this does not apply to other player's account information or software programming codes. These things are understandably protected in their own regard. However, when it comes down to an online casinos management and history, these things should be openly shared for all to see. If not, then it must surely beg the question, "Does management have something to hide"?

A gaming sites "About Us" page is a good place to start in finding just how transparent their operations are. Those sites which have an "About Us" page with nothing more than "we offer so many games and make for the the best gaming experience on the Web", amounts to absolutely nothing, aside from some bombastic language. Internet casinos, however, that describe who they are owned, managed and licensed by, how long they have been in business, and what their monthly payout percentages are, embody what it means to have transparent operations.

In conclusion, next time you are searching for a gaming site to gamble at, be sure to look for just how transparent the site really is.
