Some Bets to Always Avoid Making in the Online Casino
by Mike Harrison, Strategy and Games Writer

There are some casino bets that, simply, should never be taken. No matter what the circumstances or payoff, gambling pros across the board will surely give a majority ruling regarding certain bets a player should always avoid making at the online casino.

You might be asking at this time as to why the casinos even bother offering these bets if so many people know not to make them. The reason being is there are plenty of gamblers who still make them anyways. Either those players who just don't know any better, those who like taking big risks, or those who do indeed know better but really don't care because they are betting their money just to have fun, are usually the one's making these bets.

If you fall into any of these categories, then by all means, spend your entire bankroll playing the Big Six Wheel. While there is a chance you might get lucky and win a million-plus progressive jackpot, just know that the chances are very slim and null.

If, however, you are seeking to incorporate mathematical strategy into your gambling sessions at the online casino, and are looking for the bets that deliver the lowest Casinos Edge, you will certainly want to stay away from the following bets and/or games:

As already mentioned, the Big Six Wheel is a game that can eat up a bankroll real fast. Two other games that you most certainly should not give your entire bankroll over to are Keno and American Roulette. While both of these games can be played with a certain degree of personal playing strategy and bankroll management, the House Edge typically runs higher at these games. The edge at Keno can go beyond 25%, while European Roulette offers a much better alternative than the American version.

Bets that send the House Edge soaring, and which should be avoided, no matter what online casinos are offering them, include Craps Proposition bets, the Blackjack Insurance Bet, the Baccarat Tie Bet, the Caribbean Stud and Let it Ride Poker side bets and the tie Bet for the card game of War.
