Varying Rules of Blackjack

Blackjack is one of the most popular games in the casino.  Other than the fact that most casinos offer several multi-denominational tables with varying stakes, another reason why you will likely see more blackjack tables than anything else is because there are several variations of blackjack usually available to bettors.

Obviously, a game of Blackjack Switch is going to incorporate standard blackjack rule variations, which a gambler should be familiar with if they are going to place their bets.  Likewise, a blackjack player should know the particular rules a casino enforces on all their versions of this popular game, including the original game itself.

As much of a no-brainer this sounds, there are many players who think they know all the rules of the game - Rules they think are governing their hands, but in fact, may have no dominion at all, for the specific casino they are gambling at enforces a slightly different set of rules.  For instance, some casinos will allow bettors to resplit a pair of Aces, albeit there are few in number.

Most players assume the casino they are playing at is one of the majority, and so do not even bother asking the dealer what rule the casino goes by.  By no means is it going to hurt to ask.  The worst thing that could happen is for the dealer to answer your question in the negative.  On the other hand, if the casino does in fact permit split Aces to be resplit, the Casinos Edge is only going to go down even more.  Additionally, there are an entire host of rules that one is better off asking about.
