Taking a Closer Look at Online Casino Customer Service
by Colby Lewis, Strategy and Games Writer  Bookmark with del.icio.us

To talk of "good customer service" at an online casino or gaming site, there are many things that need to be considered. Entailing more than just 24/7 telephone support and responding to emails in a timely manner, customer service should be gauged not only in respect to "when" service is provided, but also, "how" service is rendered.

The "how" aspect of customer service is just as important if not the most important component of good customer service. For instance, let's say a player has a query regarding whether or not their casino bonus wager requirement has been sufficiently met in order to warrant a legitimate withdrawal. Let's say they this question is emailed to the customer service department's of two separate online casinos. Let's say that each email is responded to in the same amount of time - three hours later. However, each email is responded to differently.

Hypothetically, we will consider two possible responses - Response A and B. Let's say that Response A is this: "Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, all of your bonus money has been refunded back to the casino since you have played exempt games not permitted under the bonus terms and conditions."

Let's say that Response B is this: "Thank you for your inquiry. Upon looking at your bonus account, it appears you have wagered at exempt games as cited in our terms and conditions. Normally, all bonus money is disqualified when wagering at exempt games. However, since it appears this was not done in an intentional manner, we will still warrant the bonus. Not counting any wagers made at exempt games, you still need to wager 5x your original deposit and bonus. Remember, only do so at permitted games, which include video poker, slots, keno, and all forms of blackjack except single-deck blackjack. After doing so, you will be eligible to withdraw any and all funds in your account. Good luck!"

Obviously, Response B is the more reasonable option. So, when it comes down to looking for casinos offering "good customer service", pay attention to not only how fast they are, but how they have dealt with their players in the past.
