Blacklisting of Crystal Palace Online Gaming Group
by Mike Harrison, Strategy and Games Writer  Bookmark with del.icio.us

In one of our recent gambling tips we discussed some of the factors that make for an unbiased and credible online casinos blacklist. Following up on this tip, we would like to draw attention to an entire gaming group that has been on our blacklist for several years now.

Recently, we received a string of more player complaints against some of the online casinos this group operates. Who we are referring to is the Crystal Palace Group, which is owned and operated by Crystalisle Management Ltd.

Several years ago this network of online gaming sites, which now operates under several different names, was blacklisted by the industry's top watchdog's for repeated non-payment of winnings to players, as well as personal abuse against players. Making certain that we do not sound hypocritical in the context of our proclaimed unbiased blacklist, let it be known that we tried contacting the Crystal Palace Group to give them a fair chance of explaining their actions.

After no response, we tried contacting them again, and again, and again. We received absolutely no response from Crystalisle Management. Considering the allegations that several players were making against them, evidence of abusive emails, their non-responsiveness to our own emails and the fact that they were already on several other respected blacklists, such as that of Casino Meister, we had no choice but to blacklist them as well.

We understand that players themselves can be more abusive than the casinos, and oftentimes are guilty of violating gaming policies. However, when an online casino hides behind unrealistic gaming policies and is not open to working things out with their players, a.k.a., providing customer service, they have no right taking people's money and doing business.

And this is precisely the function our Blacklist is intended to serve. If we can keep players from doing business with shady establishments, we will not only prevent more mishaps from taking place, but perhaps will help to motivate gaming operations on the Web to do the right thing.
