Gambling Single Coins at Multiplier
Slots
It may
sound like heresy, but it is sometimes better to
wager a single coin on certain slot machines,
instead of the maximum wager amount. True
multiplier slot machines with a somewhat low jackpot
are actually a great candidate for betting a single
coin - and most gamblers do not know anything about
this.
If you have been around
slot machines and are familiar with a casino, you
should take the time to find true or near-true
multiplier machines. Although true machines
are scarce in most casinos, near-true machines can
be easily found with a little research.
The reason these
machines are great for a single coin spin is that
the winnings are the same proportion no matter how
many coins you bet. Therefore, the ratio of
your losses to winnings will always be the same,
except in the case of betting less coins you will be
putting your bankroll at less risk. You also
give yourself the option of moving up to a higher
denomination machine, which usually are looser than
smaller coin machines.
An example of a near
true multiplier would be a three coin machine that
pays out 800 for a single coin, 1,600 for two coins
and 2,500 for three coins.
