Familiarity With Foreign Casinos

When visiting a new country, you may be confronted with an opportunity to gamble at a local casino.  Especially in heavily tourist populated areas, there is a great chance you will have access to a nearby casino.

Take the Caribbean, Isle of Capri Casino in the Bahamas.  A small casino located in the heart of Grand Bahamas Island, Capri’s main business comes from tourists who are not even visiting for the purpose to gamble.  Rather, they are in the Bahamas to soak in the sand and sun on the beach, while sipping on a Daiquiri.

The casino itself serves as an additional evening of recreation and entertainment which most tourists do not have on their original itineraries to begin with.

Therefore, for those of you who are more serious about winning money and playing with better odds, you should ask what kind of odds the casino is offering.  Because unlike Vegas, where the main purpose is to gamble, tourist driven casinos will not always offer game rules and odds worth gambling.
