Microgaming Online Casino Games - European Roulette
by Mike Harrison, Strategy and Games Writer

In previous gambling tips we discussed the extensive offering of roulette games offered by Microgaming online casinos. Not only does Microgaming offer the most roulette games and hybrids, they offer what is arguably one of the most sophisticated Expert Betting Modes. Microgaming's European Roulette is one of the most popular versions of this classic table game.

In order to get started playing, you should first set the denomination chip that suits your bankroll. In order to place your bet(s), you must click on the area of the table that corresponds to the bet. For instance, if you would like to make a $10 bet on any even number, simply click on the plus or minus signs flanking the chip window until you hit the denomination you want to play with. It is not necessary to click on the chip itself, for whatever value chip is showing in the window is what will be set on the table when left-clicking on the various areas of the table. In the case of this particular example, you would left-click in the box that says "Even".

If this is sounding way too elementary for you, please bear on. This is where things can get complicated. Most serious roulette players have certain betting patterns/layouts they like to have on the table for a single spin. Although roulette in the online casino is much faster than in land-based casinos, bettors still like to get as much bets covering the table at once as is feasible and reasonable.

To this end, Microgaming's European Roulette offers an Expert Mode that will allow you to preset up to eight different betting layouts. Set all your bets ahead of time, so when it is time to do the real thing, all you have to do is select the numbered layout you want to play. Just try to remember what your layouts are. If you ever get confused, you can simply click in the Edit mode and view the bets for each layout.

Additionally, Microgaming's European Roulette offers a real-time betting summary showing the percentage ratios of all the bets on the table. Check out any Microgaming casino for a free opportunity to play this sophisticated game for yourself.
