A Quick Rundown of Sic Bo Online and Table Layout

Sic-Bo is a casino gambling game very similar to craps. Originating in Asia, and mostly popular with Asian gamblers, Sic Bo is actually a very fun game to play, and can be played with a consistent strategy to help keep the Casino Edge down.

Sic Bo is similar to craps in that several different types of bets are permitted on a similar looking table layout. Furthermore, dice are are used in determining winning and losing bets which correspond to several particular dice combinations designated on the board.

Like craps, the horde of optional bets on the board can seem confusing and overwhelming.  However, unlike craps, this overwhelming feeling is tempered by the fact that in Sic Bo the dealer not only rolls the dice, but handles all the bets and payouts as well (Sic Bo uses its own type of chips, as is the case at the roulette table). In the online casino, this latter component does not make a difference since everything is handled by the software platform.

There are eight different types of bets that can be made at Sic Bo: The Any Number bet is a wager on the three dice totals (from 4 to 18), Three of a Kind is a bet predicting the exact number to come up on all three dice, Two of a Kind is the same except that is only covers two of the dice, a Duo bet is a wager on the numbers of two out of the three dice, an Any Three bet is a wager on any three-of-a-kind, a Small Bet is a wager on a three dice total of 10 or less, a Big Bet is on a three dice total of 11 or more and a One Bet is on any number for any of the three dice.

The Big and Small bets provide the lowest House Edge of all the bets (2.7%) and are the bets that most online casino gamblers make while incorporating a money management system. For players looking for a change of pace from the more traditional casino games, Sic Bo is a great choice for fun and reasonable odds.
