The Importance of Online Casino Customer Service

How important is customer support at an internet gaming host?  Considering they are legally licensed and insured, and follows all fair gaming protocols set forth by the conditions of their license and the gaming regulators, there is nothing more important.  Not even a large free cash bonus (because we all know that nothing is actually free) is as important as having the best, most cordial and speedy customer service department.

Think of it this way - No matter how good a bonus appears to be, if at any time the player does not understand the conditions of their bonus, and is not informed of those conditions by a customer service employee (simply because they did not know themselves), or, the player inadvertently abuses the bonus, a cold and callous customer service department is not going to help you out.  An understanding and friendly customer service department, on the other hand, will be there with opened ears for the player, and at the very least, will consider granting the bonus even if the player made an error in claiming it.

There are countless other situations (many of which happen every day) in which customer service alone can be the saving grace for a player. How many times have we all made a late credit card payment, overdrew our bank account or inadvertently let our cell phone bill go over the edge, and later find ourselves on the phone asking to speak to a supervisor to have any fees against us removed?  This is the power of customer service, which all players should check up on before opening an account with a gaming site.

One of the easiest ways to test out the qualities in a customer service team is to call and email them with a few simple questions. Perhaps you really do have a question that was not answered on a casino's website or in their FAQ's section, which you will want an answer to.  Even if you don't have any pressing questions, think of something that is a important to you in a gaming host and fire away.

Some good questions might be, "How fast will I receive a payout when using Neteller?" or "What was the payout percentages on your slot machines the month before last"? Even if you already know the answer, your intent is to see how helpful the customer service team is.  It is not so important that they know the answer right off the top of their head, but more importantly, that if they do not know the answer, they will find out the answer for you. Are they friendly and patient over the phone?  Or, do they talk in an impersonal way or hardly speak English well?

As for email help, send an email with a similar question, stating you are a potential new member.  See how long it take the email staff to get back to you, and again, gauge how helpful they are in helping you find an answer to your question.
