Reports Show Online Casinos Accepting U.S. Players

Industry statistics show US players are successfully finding online casinos to open accounts with, are continuing to gamble online in safe web environments, and are getting paid their winnings. Things apparently are just taking longer than normal.

What has happened as a result of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act is that U.S. banks, credit cards and financial institutions are blocking payments to and from online gambling companies. While there has always been ways around this via third party eWallets, such as Neteller and Click2Pay, most of these alternative deposit methods have stopped doing business with U.S. players. Several online casinos and software companies have likewise backed out of the industry.  However, statistics show that just as many - if not more - gambling sites are keeping their doors open to U.S. citizens who make up nearly half of the $258 billion/year internet betting industry.

What is apparently happening is that those companies who have decided to keep doing business in the U.S. are having to completely revamp their banking structures with offshore accounts. Since they are no longer dealing directly with U.S. financial institutions, the time it takes to process deposits and withdrawals is apparently taking longer than what it used to. The bottom line is that U.S. citizens are finding casino sites to gamble online, and are getting paid.

Those U.S. gamblers who are going to bet on the Web anyways are being advised to seek out properly licensed and regulated gaming sites. This includes only those sites using reputable gambling software, such as Vegas Technology, Real Time Gaming and Microgaming, and who are also regulated by reputable offshore governments, such as Antigua and Barbuda, Kahnawake, Gibraltar and Netherlands, Antilles.
