The world's largest online skill and casual games
software developer, SkillJam, will be partnering with Deutsche Telekom in a deal
that will provide an online platform of casual games on the German gaming site,
T-Online.de. Seeking to tap into one of the largest online casino gambling
markets in the world, SkillJam will now expand its already bustling gaming
empire for the next two years on the German-targeted website.
Managing Director for Fun Technologies, Michael
Cassius, issued a statement regarding the deal. His comments praised the deal
with Deutsche Telekom for at least two vital reasons, citing the large demand of
German bettors for online gambling (including casinos, sports betting and skill
games), as well as Deutsche Telekom's T-Com operations being the largest
pan-European online service provider (T-Mobile). Cassius cited that the deal
will allow SkillJam to focus on a highly targeted German consumer base, which
the company is expecting to contribute large portions to the online skill gaming
industry.
The SkillJam website, which offers free game
downloads, mobile gaming, monthly subscriptions and casual online skill gaming
for real money, will be promoted on the T-Com website for two years. It will
also be advertised in conjunction with Deutsche Telekom's subsidiary,
Interactive Media. With the news of this deal following on the heels of
SkillJam's first ever $1 million tournament, the gaming community is expecting
SkillJam to produce even larger tournaments and give the best online casinos
currently operating on the Web today a run for their money and services.
