Mohegan Sun Casino is probably one of the most well-known tribal casinos in
the U.S. Almost as expansive as the largest casino in the world - Foxwoods -
Mohegan Sun comes close in scope, taking up 240 acres along the Thames River in
Connecticut and offering 1,200 guest room accommodations. Even better for the
casino gambler is that Mohegan Sun continues to "wow" players with both its Las
Vegas resort feel as well as the scope of its promotions and gambling volume.
The latest of these impressive promotions is the "Home Sweet Home" Giveaway,
which yes, is actually going to award an entire house to one lucky winner.
Valued at $200,000, the "open" house is currently sitting outside the Mohegan
Sun Winter Entrance. The giveaway is scheduled for Saturday, September 30 at
9:15pm in the Mohegan Sun Arena, which is where A&E's host of Sell This House,
Tanya Memme will be interacting with attendees beginning at 7:00pm. During the
two hours preceding the drawing, Memme will be conducting a Question and Answer
session, which will most likely elicit questions about preparing a house to sell
on the competitive real estate market.
Anyone who is thinking about vying for a chance to win the house may be
disappointed to hear that not everyone can qualify to enter. Only Player's Club
members of Mohegan Sun Casino were given an opportunity to enter the giveaway
during the month of September. Although there is a chance that entry's to the
giveaway are no longer being given out, those who are interested in entering the
drawing are advised to contact the Marketing Department at Mohegan Sun.
Also included in the prize pool are four runner-up packages worth $1,000 cash
and a six home furnishing packages, including a fully loaded kitchen package
valued at $55,000, a $25,000 entertainment center package, a $25,000 living room
package, a $25,000 dining room package, a $25,000 bedroom suite package, and a
home office package valued at $15,000.
