Gaming Modules Combine in
Acquisition/Merger
Casino Conditions Staff
The gaming management software producer, EndX, has
officially been bought out by Progressive Gaming
International Co. for $27 million. The two
companies have worked together hand-in-hand over the
last few years, and have successfully implemented
several management suites for casinos around the world. The word now is that the two
companies will spearhead a joint effort in expanding its
services to gambling communities in North America as
well as further develop its state-of-the-art gaming
technology and software systems. Two largely successful gaming companies, EndX and Progressive Gaming
International, have officially announced the completion of their acquisition,
which in actuality, resembles more of a merger in many respects. The terms
of the deal give Progressive Gaming a full acquisition of EndX for $27 Million
cash, and top management positions to several EndX officers. What makes
the deal so homogenous is that the two companies have been strong strategic
business partners for over three years now, complementing each others service to
offer some of the best land-based casino hardware and software management
packages in the world.
EndX, which has strong ties to the European gambling industry, has
implemented its Intelligence Product Suite in several casinos around the globe.
In recent times, with the collaboration of Progressive Gaming, this high-tech
gaming management module has been implemented into the CasinoLink Enterprise
Edition, which primarily manages slot modules. The system is one of the
most technically advanced in the gambling industry, which more and more North
American casinos are beginning to get wind of. Already, the Choctaw Nation
tribe in Oklahoma and the Columbia Lottery Cooperation are set to begin using
the patented software.
Chief Executive Officers of both companies stated how pleased they are to be
making the acquisition. Past success has gone so well that both companies
only expect continued growth without any setbacks whatsoever caused by the
acquisition. The portfolios of both companies are quite similar, but at
the same time, are diverse from one another, thereby complementing each other
very nicely. Progressive Gaming is confident that both it and EndX's
services to the gambling industry will now be maximized by combining their
resources and working together on a full-time basis. A marketing campaign
is predicted to come soon, which should spotlight the homogenous gaming
management services Progressive Gaming can now offer in one complete package.
A continual increase in revenue, as well as new clients in the UK and
international market are expected to offset the costs of the acquisition, and
take Progressive Gaming to a new standard in gambling module services.
