Makeover
Casino Conditions Staff
Caribbean casino gambling is at its best in the Bahamas,
where one casino, Crystal Palace, is giving itself a
makeover worth approximately $6 million. The
upgrade will include new cosmetic designs and colors, a
fully furbished poker room and slot machines that accept
and dispense winning tickets like the ones used in Las
Vegas. Vacationers are promised to be treated with the
finest in Caribbean hospitality, in addition to a new
level of sophistication that only a casino could give.
The makeover is set to be finished in the coming months
- But in the meantime, is operating as usual. Not
to be confused with that other "Palace Casino", The
Crystal Palace Casino located in The Bahamas is
undergoing a serious makeover, which it expects to
be finished with by the first half of November '05.
A $6.75 million project, the casino is already
considered to be one of the finest in the Bahamas -
not to mention one of the biggest casinos.
Renowned for its guest services, the upgrade to Crystal Palace Casino will
make it one of the most sophisticated and modern casinos in the Caribbean.
Changes include even more of a Caribbean look with bright colors and tropical
designs, as well as a brand new poker room that has already opened five poker
tables with more to come. As far as operational changes go, much of the
renovations costs are going towards upgrading and
acquiring close to 500 new slot machines and other
gaming machines. All of these will offer the
latest state-of-the-art technology, including ticket
in/ticket out capability (allowing for non-cash
transactions) and Comp Program capabilities that
will not only allow the casino to track each players
gambling history for awarding comps and free slots
action, but will also help the casino to prevent
underage and problem gabmling. New table games
that are only found in some casinos will also be
installed into Crystal Palace Casinos gaming lobby,
including favorites like Caribbean Stud Poker and
3-Card Poker. Players can expect to find all
of the standard casino table games like roulette,
craps and blackjack - with over fifty table games
available in total. Caribbean casinos have a high
standard to live up to when it come to being a
resort and vacation paradise. Crystal Palace
Casino obviously has taking note of this - and in
doing so - is setting the stage for other casinos to
follow. More Bahamas
