RyanAir Grants Liftoff for an
Online Casino
Casino Conditions StaffThe
highly recognized England-based airline and travel
accommodator, RyanAir, has been in the talks for
some time now about building an online casino.
It now seems that plan is a definite possibility
now that RyanAir has announced it will be seeking to
partner with an unidentified online casino software
manufacturer to develop an internet gaming site via
RyanAir's homepage website. It appears that it
is likely William Hill will be taking the honors,
for a large betting banner for the gambling giant
has been displayed on RyanAir's website for some
time.
Complementing an in-flight entertainment service
that RyanAir has in the making, the online casino
will serve as a traffic director for increasing
multiple revenue streams. Already, RyanAir
offers direct links to airport parking, travel
insurance, hotels, skiing packages, and other travel
related resources. Last month alone, CEO of
RyanAir, Michael O'Leary, reported there were
fifteen million unique visitors to the website.
With that kind of online traffic, the option of an
online casino is looking like a very lucrative
option.
O'Leary revealed to investors that RyanAir would
not be putting up any funds for building the online
casino. Rather, the website would serve as a
distribution center, if you will - Directing
would-be players to an online casino. RyanAir
would simply work as an affiliate to the casino,
taking a portion of the revenue that is earned by
the betting site.
