The European Poker Tour still has three more stops
scheduled for early 2006. After successful
tournaments in Dublin, London, Baden and Barcelona, the
tour will be moving onto France, Denmark and Monte
Carlo, where the final championship game will be hosted.
The word right now is where the online satellite
tournaments are being held. Everest Poker has been
in the news as of late, for their satellite schedule
leading to free buy-ins for the Monte Carlo table has
plenty of openings for players. In addition to
free rolls for the final round at Everest, the stake
sizes are relatively low for those who do not want to
risk as much.
There are a number of online poker tournaments
coming up in early 2006, which several poker rooms
are already holding satellite tournaments for.
One of these tournaments is the highly anticipated
European Poker Tour. There are several
satellites taking place that are ultimately buying
seats for online players. One online poker
room that is throwing multiple tournaments for not
only the European Poker Tour Grand Final, but for
several European Tour destinations like the
Scandinavian Open and French Open is Everest Poker.
There is even some action going towards some buy-ins
for the World Poker Tour Championship at the
Bellagio in Las Vegas the third week of April, 2006.
Everest Poker is one of the internets more recent online poker rooms - And
they are proving to be formidable competition for the big giants like Party
Poker and 888. The software manufacturer, Grand Virtual, has been
developing online casino and gaming technology since 1997, and has likewise
proven itself capable of competing with the best.
As for the European Poker Tour, Everest has several tournaments feeding into
the final $100+$9 tournament. The other satellites include an $11+$1,
$5+$.50 rebuy, $2+$.20 rebuy, and several Grand Final Free Rolls. The
actual value for the seat at the European Tour is worth 10,000 euros - the
buy-in fee that is due by the time the tour kicks off on March 8, 2006.
There has been no announcement whether Everest will also be paying for travel
and stay accommodations. This would be a good question of players
interested in entering, for the European Poker Tour Finale will be held in Monte
Carlo, Monaco. The Scandinavian and French Opens will be held in Denmark
and France, respectively. If online casino players are interested in more
details and tournament schedules, they should visit Everest Poker's website.
One word of warning though - You must download their free software before you
can see any specific tournament information. It might be better to call
their customer support via toll-free telephone.
