Carmen and Trident Merge Online Gaming Sites

Online Casino Conditions Staff
May 12, 2006

Carmen Media Group is best known for their successful operation of several well-respected online casinos and poker rooms currently operating on the Web.  Riverbelle Online Casino, The Gaming Club, Lucky Nugget Casino, Jackpot City, and Aces High Casino are just to name a few.  So, when the company recently announced they were considering consolidating with another big player in the online casino gambling industry - Trident Entertainment Online Gambling Group - plenty of eyebrows were raised.

In what could only serve to fuel both company's into an even larger playing field, the consolidation would create a network of ten online casino sites and three online poker rooms, and a sportsbook (Trident Entertainment is responsible for King Neptune's Casino, Trident Lounge Casino, Vegas USA and Trident Lounge Poker Room). The basis for the move sounds as if it is intended to bring more buying and marketing power to both companies in a combined effort.

A spokesperson for Trident Entertainment commented that both companies will maintain the diversified and distinct brand recognition that each company has been very successful at developing over the years.  She went on to say that Trident would stand to benefit from Carmen Media's successful customer service and relations department, and that a continued marketing effort will be directed in North America, Canada and Asia - with an emphasis directed to the Japanese market.

Considering that both company's are committed to the same high standards of online gaming ethics, and have many of their online casino sites abiding by the fair gaming principles set forth by eCOGRA (eCommerce Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance), the aims for a combined directive appear to set the groundwork for a very successful collaboration.

While putting their energy's into emerging online gambling markets, both companies will continue to use their original Affiliate Programs, that being Referback for Carmen Media and Trident Share for Trident Entertainment Group.  Although no official word has been given on the finalization of a consolidation, as of now, the deal appears imminent.
