The Playtech-powered online poker room,
Titan Poker, has
implemented two site-wide translations into Finnish and Danish as part of a
strategic plan to tap into the Nordic region, where doors are opening to online
casino gambling, sports betting and real stakes internet poker. Now with eleven
languages to choose from, Titan Poker has become a large international player
amongst heavy hitters like Poker Stars, Pacific Poker and Poker Room.
Keeping with Imperial E-Club's plans to diversify
its offering of live poker games to regions embracing online gambling
regulation, Titan has fast become the largest online poker room in the iPoker
Network, which is Playtech's large network of card rooms, including such popular
sites like Paddy Power Poker, Betfred, Club on the Park, Victor Chandler and
Titan's former sister site, Noble Poker, who is now in the hands of Party
Gaming.
The iPoker network of card rooms currently offers
four games (Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo and Seven Card Stud Poker) and
plenty of online satellite tournaments to high-profile poker circuit tournaments
like the WSOP, WPT and more. With well over 1,200 active tables and 8,000
players online at peak times, it should be no surprise iPoker gives over $2
million to guaranteed prize pools each month. And now with more coverage in
Denmark and and Finland, these numbers are certain to grow even more.
The other nine languages offered by Titan (all of
which can be chosen at the time of downloading the software) include English,
Spanish, Swedish, French, German, Norweigan, Polish, Turkish and Italian.
Multi-lingual support via telephone, email and live chat (chat while logged into
the software) are provided in each language. Add to that the fact that Titan was
given a 2006 Gold Award for "Best Online Poker Room Customer Service" by readers
of GOM, and you have one of the best managed poker rooms on the Web.
Currently, Titan Poker is offering more than $2.5
million in monthly tournament winnings, which include sit 'n' go tournaments
with progressive prizes often reaching $100,000. Titan is also giving away
twenty seats to one of the most vied after free-roll tournaments being billed
"The Tournament Titan". With $1 million guaranteed in winnings, and a cap of
twenty players, players are scrambling to qualify, which is going on right now.
The first twenty players who win three tournaments in a row (from Titan's list
of available daily and weekly tournaments) will qualify. All players are
guaranteed money, with $25,000 going to the the first three players knocked out
and $200,000 going to first place. The top three finishers will all win seats to
the 2007 WSOP Main Event.
