East Coast Gaming Congress Draws Top Casino Operators

The two pastimes of gaming and leisure have often been associated together. In fact, their convergence make up a pastime of their own. Looking to nurture this union is the East Coast Gaming Congress, who recently issued a press release announcing their next annual meeting spanning the last day of March and first day of April. For the eleventh year in a row, the East Coast Gaming Congress is expected to have a major turnout of the casino gambling industry's top executives, not to mention high-ranking government officials.

There are several keynote speakers already scheduled to give presentations at the conference, including Harrah's Entertainment CEO, Gary Loveman and Peter Yesawich, who is CEO of a well-known marketing agency praised for its insightfulness regarding consumer behavior trends and patterns. Also included on the itinerary are Penn Gaming CEO, Peter Carlino, Seminole Gaming CEO, James Allen, Pinnacle Entertainment CEO, Daniel Lee, Foxwoods Resort CEO, John O'Brien, Mohegan Sun Resort CEO, Mitchell Etess, Revel Entertainment CEO, Kevin DeSanctis, Boyd Gaming President, Keith Smith, Trump Entertainment Resorts CEO, James Perry and the governor of New Jersey, Jon Corzine.

Additionally, Wall Street gaming analysts, American Gaming Association President, Frank Fahrenkopf, and New Jersey Casino Control Commission Chair, Linda Kassekert will be sharing some valuable information on the state of the gambling industry in the eastern United States. The event will be initiated with a golf outing at the Atlantic City Country Club on Monday, April 30, which will be followed by an evening cocktail reception. Tuesday's events will begin bright and early at 8:30 a.m., beginning with a welcome speech by Atlantic City, New Jersey officials.

Overall, a turnout of 500+ casino gaming professionals are expected at this years East Coast Gaming Conference. Seeking to bring together a variety of views and disciplines all related to the land-based casino gambling industry, the conference always seems to attract more than just east coast based gaming companies. Attendance is expected from throughout the U.S. - all of whom will be eager to hear about the booming gambling industry along the East Coast.
