International online casino and gaming software
developer, Playtech, has announced another major deal - this time with
recognizable brick n' mortar casino supplier and games developer, Shuffle
Master. In conjunction with Guardian Gaming, who owns exclusive rights to
license certain Shuffle Master games to be played online out of the U.S.,
Playtech has intellectual property rights to sub-license a host of Shuffle
Master games to its online casino licencees.
The agreement with Guardian Gaming will make
Playtech the exclusive supplier of gaming software on the Shuffle Master
online casino website, which incidentally, is also operated by Guardian Gaming.
Hallmark games to be developed by Playtech include the wildly popular Three Card
Poker, Pai Gow, Ultimate Texas Hold'em, Let it Ride, Casino War and Dragon
Bonus.
The deal is another recent first for Playtech, who
has made tremendous advancements in the international online gambling industry
following the U.S. crackdown. Playtech is now the only online casino software
developer with rights to turn Shuffle Master's popular games into virtual
counterparts.
Shuffle Master certainly did its homework on who it wanted to
develop its gaming portfolio. Playtech has been a pioneer in the industry since
its early beginnings in the nineties, and now offers one of the most graphically
advanced and secure online gaming software platforms in the industry.
Playtech's new CEO, Mor Weizer, who recently took
over former CEO Avigur Zmora's duties, said that Playtech is very pleased to
have procured these prestigious rights, and that it certainly reflects on the
companies expanding global presence in regulated online casino gaming markets.
