CryptoLogic Upgrades Online Poker Software

CryptoLogic Software, a pioneer in the online gambling industry who is responsible for mainstreaming most of the e-cash technologies used by online casinos these days, has announced its subsidiary company, WagerLogic, has developed new graphical enhancements to its online poker room software.

These enhancements include new features like poker games with lower betting limits, and real-time "Lightning" games that enable experienced poker players to gamble at faster speeds.  The "lightning" option require players in betting rounds to decide on an action in twelve seconds.  If not, the hand will be automatically folded.  As for the new stakes, the software platform now has ten additional games enabling lower stake limits.  The lowest is a game with minimum stakes of $0.15 cents and a maximum limit of $0.25 cents.  Compared to the highest stake game, which has a minimum of $150 and a max stake of $300, one could say that WagerLogic has covered all the bases.

According to CryptoLogic, the company was seeking to offer all players a version of online poker they would feel comfortable playing.  For players just learning to play poker, the software comes in a Free Flash version with the same user-end graphics as the downloadable version.

Online casinos and poker rooms already using WagerLogic's software package should be updating their older versions with the new games.  Since the graphics and security features remain the same, the upgrade should be a smooth and painless one for poker rooms and players alike.
