Fortune Lounge Releases Online Messenger Service

A large chain of reputable online casinos - the Fortune Lounge Group - has implemented a text messaging program into their gambling interface.  The new program, called the Fortune Lounge Personal Messenger (FLPM), is designed to allow players to communicate with each other, as well as with the casino itself on an internal communication line.

Most players are familiar with receiving emails from the online casinos they regularly play;  However, many times these emails do not go through, and end up in the junk folder of an email account.  This is precisely why Fortune Lounge says it has created their new system, which in the near future will also facilitate live chat with their customer support team.

Working like any messenger service would, the FLPM is a downloadable program that indiscreetly stays in the player's task bar, notifying players when they receive new messages.  Furthermore, players can text message each other at any time (hence the potential for live chat with customer service).  Right now, the main use of the system is for the casinos to more effectively communicate with the players, which includes keeping them abreast of new bonuses and promotions, as well as general announcements and/or pending deadlines for withdrawals and such.

Casino members in the Fortune Lounge Group, such as Royal Vegas and Platinum Play, already have the technology available to them, which is designed to run in conjunction with prior downloaded gambling software, such as Microgaming's favorite line - the Viper Edition.
