In their quest to tap
into the Asian online gambling sector, PacGames Limited has acquired an online
gaming license from the First Cagayan and Cagayan Economic Zone Authority to
do online business in the Philippines. PacGames parent company, PacifiNet
Inc., who is very well known in the Asian IT sector, recently made the
announcement via a press release.
Chief Executive
Officer of PacificNet, Tony Tong, said the company was "delighted" to receive
the license. Tong referred to the fact that PacGames has already been focused
on the Asian casino and gaming market, both online and offline, and that the
company will continue to establish itself as a leader in the gaming technology
for the Asian sector. Having a deep understanding of the Asian betting
culture, as well as regional betting preferences, PacGames has been hitherto
quite successful at developing casino games with an Asian theme.
Considering that Asia
now has the fastest growing gambling market in the world, PacGames is
certainly ready to do even more business. The company already employs some 200
computer and software programmers in the casino Mecca of Macau, which is fast
becoming the Las Vegas of the Far East. At the current time, much of Pac's
resources are going into the mobile online gambling sector, which in China,
has enormous potential.
PacificNet also owns
MOABC.com, which is an online mobile portal catering to the countless young
mobile user's in China. The website already has over 11 million registered
user's, all of whom are seeking a variety of mobile internet services. Rest
assured that mobile online casino gaming is now one of them.
