Progressive Gaming - one of the world's largest
patent holders for progressive table games - has signed an agreement with
Canada-based DEQ, allowing Progressive Gaming to offer DEQ's G3 progressive
table system to their clients in jurisdictions where current patents are being
held by the casino gaming company. In jurisdictions where DEQ does not
have distribution agreements, Progressive Gaming may distribute the G3 casino
table system on a non-exclusive bases, while DEQ will have the rights to
sublicense the acquired rights from those that Progressive Gaming licenses to
future distributors of the G3 system.
DEQ's table system has already proven to be a
formidable success, and will now take on a new playing field as the company uses
their global license to sell the G3 system, which offers unsurpassed technology
in progressive jackpots, variable pay tables and the facilitation of side bets.
The Chief Executive Officer of DEQ, Earle Hall, commented that in keeping with
the company's goal of becoming a gambling industry standard for casino table
side betting, the deal with Progressive Gaming will serve as an avenue for
integrating their system into casino table games throughout the world.
The CEO for Progressive Gaming, Russ McMeekin, also
commented in a press release announcing the expanded relationship between the
two casino gambling companies, expressing his pleasure and anticipation of
things to come. The deal will go into effect on September 1, 2006, at
which time Progressive Gaming and DEQ will begin offering the G3 casino table
side betting system to current clients, as well as prospective casinos and
gaming companies seeking to expand their own gambling products and services.
