The Red Rock Casino Resort in Las Vegas was the
first billion-dollar casino resort to be constructed off of the Strip. Still
less than a year old, the Red Rock has become one of the most popular and
impressive casino resorts in all of Vegas. Trying to meet the high demand of
visitors, Station Casinos has announced they have finished a 400 guestroom
expansion, now giving the resort a total of 816 rooms and suites.
Bordered by the beautiful Red Rock Mountains in
the Nevada desert, Stations Casinos Red Rock Resort is reminiscent of the
majestic desert oasis resorts in the mid-20th Century. With inspirations taken
from Station's partially owned Green Valley Ranch, Red Rock Resort is an
all-in-one getaway for anyone who seeks to be near the Strip and experience
Las Vegas, but does not necessarily want to be directly in the middle of the
Strip's high energy activity. Located within a short cab ride to both the
Strip and downtown Las Vegas, Red Rock provides visitors the option of having
a more intimate, nature-inspired Vegas experience.
In addition to a sleek casino, which is set apart
from the hotel suites (thus affording even more of a peaceful stay), Red Rock
Resort is home to nine distinct restaurants (including the Cabo Mexican
restaurant offering splendid views of the Red Rock mountain range) a
nightclub, two bars, lounge, 3 acre backyard lounge area, 16-screen cinema,
and a 25,000 square foot spa and an adventure spa service that allows visitors
to participate in local nature oriented activities, such as horseback riding,
kayaking (lakes and hot springs), mountain climbing and mountain biking.
Additionally, by the summer of 2007, Red Rock Casino Resort will open a new
72-land bowling center.
Regarding the new rooms, visitors will be hard
pressed to find better accommodations and luxury at casinos on the Strip. With
a minimum of 525 square feet (luxury suites offer up to 4,400 sq. ft. or
space), each guestroom is designed in a way that invokes the beauty of the
natural desert and mountain landscape. Lovers of decor will be pleased to find
their room adorned in rich colors, exotic woods, marble and crystals (over 3.1
million crystals are used throughout the numerous chandeliers in the resort).
Additionally, each room comes stocked with a
42-inch plasma television, Bose surround sound system with iPod functionality,
luxurious robes and slippers, martini bars, bathroom LCD televisions and
fantastic views of either the Strip or the Red Rock mountains.
