Microgaming online casinos may soon be offering mobile cell phone gambling
platforms, considering the continuous technological developments by
Microgaming's partner software developer, Spin3. Having recently launched an
add-on to their current mobile online gambling platform, GameWire, Spin3 now
reports that online casinos will be better able to seamlessly integrate the
GameWire platform into their own software platform via their new add-on, called
Multi-Link.
Although Spin3 is powered by Microgaming, the
Multi-Link add-on allows other software platforms to be configured with GameWire
mobile applications so that operators may launch their own proprietary software
platforms as a mobile gambling configured online casino. According to Spin3,
Multi-Link features "snap-on integration", which means that operators will be
able to offer the mobile phone gaming applications without requiring transfers
of sensitive player data, such account information and personal registration
details.
Spin3 Chief Executive, Matti Zinder, said the
mobile gambling industry has experienced tremendous growth in the last year, and
that more online casino operators are looking to supplement their current gaming
packages with wireless technology catering to players who like to gamble online
but do not always have access to online computers. These days, an increasing
amount of cell phone subscribers are using their phones to access the internet
and check email, which in turn, is opening the marketability of online mobile
gambling.
Spin3 has been in business for several years now,
and in addition to the GameWire platform, has developed the popular SpinFone and
SpinLite mobile gaming packages in collaboration with Microgaming software.
Supported on several handsets, including Nokia, Motorola, Sony-Ericsson,
Samsung, LG, Siemens and Panasonic, Spin3 is fast becoming the universal mobile
gaming platform of choice for online casino operators.
