Cryptologic Unveils Three Additional Online Gambling Platforms

Cryptologic has made good on their word to help launch three high profile online gaming sites by early 2007. As part of their revised strategy to focus on the European online gambling market, Cryptologic is proud to announce the unveiling of Playboy Gaming, and the newly vamped Scandinavian online poker rooms, Betsafe and Parbet. With these additions, Cryptologic's poker network now stands five sites strong, which has been rapidly growing only since December.

The timing of these European facing online gaming sites could not be better, following the passing of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act and the recent closing of Neteller's U.S. branch. Cryptologic has made it a commitment to aggressively pursue non U.S. online casino and poker room licensees, while adjusting to the fact that the online poker industry is largely populated by U.S. players. The European industry, however, is going plenty strong, and with the opening of several markets, including the UK, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia and Sweden, Cryptologic's strategy makes good sense.

While BetSafe will take over their own reigns and continue business as usual, Cryptologic owns the brand and assets of Parbet, and, will handle the marketing and support services for Playboy Gaming (who understandably does not know a great deal about successfully running online gaming operations). Playboy is certainly in good hands, when one considers the enormous success that Cryptologic had with the famed online casino, InterCasino. As for the licensing agreement with BetSafe's poker site and Playboy Gaming's suite of internet gaming, these have both been signed for three years each.

Cryptologic President and CEO, Lewis Rose, said that he is very pleased to be offering a highly liquid and safe internet betting platform to European and Scandinavian online bettors. Rose also sounded very optimistic about the success of Playboy Gaming, which is apparently going to offer much more than naked, beautiful women. "Money Can't Buy" promotions, such as trips to the Playboy Mansion are going to be heavily marketed in the coming months.
