While online advertising remains
a forbidden territory for online casinos and gaming companies seeking exposure
on U.S. based media websites and search engines, land-based casino advertising
campaigns remains to be more of a grey area.
Adding to the incongruities is
Global Gaming Media (GGM), who recently announced they will be marketing many of
their online gambling promotions and events at public gatherings across the
continental U.S. Throw this into the mix of other large internet betting sites
who are doing the same, and you have an even more confusing take of the U.S.
government’s stance toward online casinos.
GGM is now taking the reigns to
help market and expand what could be considered the fastest growing and next
biggest thing in online betting – mobile gaming. GGM operates a cellular
broadband network fully integrated with online casinos and internet betting,
which gives them a great opportunity to take advantage of the blossoming mobile
industry.
And so far as legal matters are
concerned, the CEO of Global Gaming, Gregory Esry, does not seem to be worried
in the least bit. Rather, it seems the confident officer has done his research,
knowing exactly where his companies actions stand in the grand scheme of
things. In other words, according to Esry, everything GGM is doing in
California is legal and perfectly acceptable.
