UK Online Gambling Awards Honors Software Maker

Online Casino Conditions Staff
February 5, 2006

The formidable presence of online casino software developer, CryptoLogic, is even stronger in the UK now that the company was awarded iGaming Software Provider of the Year for the year, 2005.  The award was one of many handed out at this year's UK Gambling Awards.  With over ten years in the online gambling industry, UK based CryptoLogic continues to propagate gaming applications that other casino software developers like Microgaming and Playtech have introduced to the industry.

CryptoLogic's contribution to new online casino games was impressive for the year 2005.  With over twenty new casino games, the software upgrade could almost be considered an entirely new gaming package.  Some of the most popular games in this package include an entire line of Super Hero casino games like X-Men and The Hulk, as well as a bundle of new jackpot machines, and the popular game, Bejeweled.

WagerLogic, which is the subsidiary software company of CryptoLogic, is largely responsible for the new software, while CryptoLogic takes charge in developing and maintaining security features and new online casino technology.  Also given tribute at the awards ceremony was the company's contribution to their new line of online poker software.  Although the software was deserving of the praise, credit must be given to PlayTech Software, who is responsible for introducing the prototype of all the major online poker software systems to date.

The UK Gambling Awards went very smoothly according to the events organizer, Dennis Publishing, who incidentally, is a widely recognized group of independently owned and diverse media companies responsible for publishing nearly twenty magazines in England, including PokerPlayer, PC Pro and the men's magazine, Maxim.  Plans are already underway to stage the awards the same time next year.
