The wireless casino software developer, GS60, has published a press release
announcing their newest product, Blackjack Cheater. The first in a planned
series of Cheater TM products, GS60 decided to release the Blackjack Cheater in
sync with the growing popularity of blackjack which has been growing due to
media coverage like "The World Series of Blackjack" and "Celebrity Blackjack" on
the Game Show Network. Much the same that online poker has become a
booming industry, it seems online blackjack is beginning to follow suit.
The Blackjack Cheater allows players to use the software through their cell
phones, enabling competition in blackjack tournaments and giving access to
online casinos. There are different modes of hand guidance as well.
When playing in fully integrated casinos and tournaments streamed with GS60,
users can enable "Cheater Mode", which automatically decides on the actions of
each hand the user is dealt. The player essentially just sits back and watches the cheater
do all the work.
In the "Hand Advisor Mode" the user simply inputs
the hand they are dealt (presuming the dealer's face-up card as well), and the
player is coached on the best action to take. Based on the basic blackjack
strategy that was inspired by M.I.T. students who ran hundreds of thousands of
blackjack hands through computer analysis, the Cheater also gives players access
to theCheater School. All done via various wireless handheld devices,
players learn when to hit, stand, split and double down.
There are currently no user reviews on the
Blackjack Cheater. However, GS60's reputation precedes themselves, for
they were very successful with their Solitaire Deluxe series of card wireless
card games, which are all available through several cellular providers,
including Verizon, Nextel and Cingular.
