February 14, 2006

The LA Poker Classic is beginning to look like a haven for all kinds of poker players who can make it into Commerce Casino starting this Thursday.  In addition to the regular poker tournament, top online gambling destination Ultimatebet.com, will be sponsoring a side tournament being organized by yet another online betting site - CardPlayer.com.  The competition is called the Card Player Fantasy Poker Contest, and is free to anyone who wants to enter.

Players have everything to gain in the first of CardPlayer's proposed tournaments coming later this year.  The last player standing will win a $500 buy-in to UltimateBet's own weekly poker tournament that guarantees to generate a pretty hefty jackpot.  In addition, two runner-ups will win $200 buy-ins to the Sunday tournament at the UltimateBet site, which is proving itself to be one of the leading all-in-one online betting sites.

Getting ready for the 2006 World Series of Poker, CardPlayer is trying to draw attention to their upcoming tournaments that will actually award seats to the largest poker competition in the world.  The second tournament of the Poker Fantasy Contest is right around the corner on February 27, which will hand out a $10,000 buy-in to the final event of this years WSOP, as well as a generous $2,000 in spending cash.  At only $30 to enter (which includes a $10 reload bonus for CardPlayer members) anybody can get into million dollar action for a mere twenty bucks.

For those online casino gamblers who reside in California, the upcoming tournament serves as a great way to catapult one's position in the large field of poker players.  The second Fantasy Tournament is being timed with the Bay 101 Shooting Star in San Jose, which will surely bring out many up and coming gamblers who have what it takes to be a poker pro, but just need an opportunity to show their skills.
