River Belle Online Casino to Broadcast Poker Canada

Online Casino Conditions Staff
February 13, 2006

Belle Rock Entertainment is taking River Belle Online Casino - their pride and joy - to another level in online entertainment.  The announcement was just made that River Belle will be teaming up with Poker Night Live Canada, giving all of their members access to participate in live, televised online poker.  Using the River Belle casino and poker room as a portal for telecasting the daily games, the internet feed will be routed on the Canadian gaming channel, CGTV, and aired on Channel 228 of the Rogers Digital Cable platform.

Using the successful Poker Night Live UK as a prototype, the Carmen Media Group (who owns Belle Rock Entertainment) is eagerly looking forward to doing business with the large Canadian market.  Online poker and online casino gambling are activities that Canadian's participate in on a large scale.  That means the more ways Belle Rock can get their brand out there and make it available to the public, the more they will be tapping into the billions of dollars this industry generates.

Anyone can watch the broadcasts of Poker Night Live Canada, meaning nonmembers of the online casino are invited to watch games.  This can be a great tool for beginning poker players, or those who have never played the online version of poker.  River Belle is actually urging anyone interested in playing to watch the shows and learn the protocol of playing a hand of online poker.

In addition to the announcement of the broadcast, Belle Rock hyped up their new poker room, which is currently offering four different versions of poker, including Texas Holdem and 5-Card Stud.  The platform is very group-user friendly, letting gamblers organize their own private tables with stakes of their choosing.  Members can find other members when they are in the online casino, as well as play up to ten hands at once.  There is also a free poker school to help beginners with the rules of each game, and even some playing strategy.
