Video Gaming Merges With Online Gaming at Playwize & Partouche

The largest and most well known casino operator in France, Partouche, has signed a deal with gaming software developer, Playwize, to build and market their poker game, Partouchewize. Using the realistic and bright graphics characteristic of Playwize, Partouche Poker will feature unlimited free gaming that can be downloaded online at Partouchewize.com or Playwize.fr. Partouche will also distribute software CD's at their large network of casinos in France.

The deal is intended to educate French casino gamblers and poker players about the game, as well as drive some traffic to the Playwize real money poker site, Pokerwize. Using the back-end platform of well-known online casino software provider, Microgaming, Pokerwize still offers the unique graphics of Playwize. The site also offers a $100 bonus for real money players. While the motions of the players could be considered by some players as being somewhat robotic of tinged with a bit of artificial intelligence, the customizable avatar's and entertainment value of the software is one of the best online.

The Chief Executive of Playwize, Foo Katan, stated it's poker platform was created with the same 3D graphics of games used on the Xbox, Play Station and PSP systems, all of which Playwize has a background developing games for. Katan said the company's current mission regarding the online gambling industry is to bring video gaming technology to online gaming technology. Their site, Pokerwize.com, represents the first phase of this mission. With a team of programmers who have been working in the video gaming field for over twenty years, it is no surprise how well Playwize has done at integrating voice over IP, tutorials and add-ons in a quest to keep improving the overall playing experience.

The tutorial offered by Playwize is one of the most comprehensive available. Ranging from beginning rules to advanced techniques used by poker professionals, the tutorial aims to help players improve their game - also facilitated by an unlimited free practice mode. Players can tweak their avatars to exactly match their very own personality, and as such, can react to other players at the table. Available poker games are Texas Hold'em, Five Card and Seven Card Stud, and Omaha.
