It should be no surprise that Mac computer user's have compatibility with and
access to most of the Flash online casinos currently being offered by the top
software providers. So when Canadian based online gambling software developer,
Chartwell Technology, announced in a press release that Mac user's could now
have access to their 32-Card poker game, it was clear that Chartwell had
developed a no-download Flash version of their popular game.
Chartwell's fast-growing Poker Nexus community of gaming sites offering
online casino games and poker have already expressed interest in the new game,
with Coral Eurobet leading the way by being the first to license it, as well as
joining the Poker Nexus community, thus bringing the total number of online
gaming operators to twenty-one. Coral Eurobet has been doing business with
Chartwell for over five years, and was evidently pleased with how the game has
been faring so far with their large player base. Dan Phillips, who is Head of
eCommerce Gaming at Gala Coral Group, said it was a no-brainer to add
Chartwell's new Flash poker game to their current suite of online casino games.
As for Chartwell, they have been very busy developing Flash technology for
several of their games, including a Flash-based Texas Hold'em Poker game,
scheduled for online release in the first quarter of next year. Alongside this
release will be several poker products geared towards the European online
gambling sector.
Chartwell's business strategy to broaden their player base and improve the
marketability of their large internet poker community is apparently taking place
as planned. Offering Flash games with the same graphics and navigability as
their downloadable online casino games only serves to open more doors to those
players who either prefer to abstain from software downloads or for those who do
not have mainstream computer compatibility with downloadable software platforms,
such as the increasing amount of Mac user's.
