Better Online Casino
Gets Chartwell's New 32 Card Poker Game
by Colby Lewis, News Staff Writer
December 22, 2006
UK based Betting Shop
Services Limited has announced the launch of their
new online casino using Chartwell Technology's newly
developed 32 Card Poker game. Called Better Casino,
the new gaming site features a large selection of
casino games, including European Roulette,
Blackjack, 3-Reel and 5-Reel slot machines, and fun
games like Mad Matterhorn, Lot-o Balls and Card
Shark. Better Casino also offers their very own
online poker room and sportsbook, thus making them
something of an all-in-one gambling site, which
Chartwell Technology is well known to accommodate
for.
The site has been
getting good preliminary reviews since its launch,
and Betting Shop Services (also known as Better) is
fast becoming a recognizable name in the UK gambling
market - both offline and on line. Better was
initially launched in 2005, which since time, the
company has developed several successful land-based
betting shops and terminals. Better Casino was the
latest installment following the approval of their
Curacao online gaming license (under the
jurisdiction of Netherlands, Antilles).
As is the case with
most of Chartwell's clients, Better Casino has opted
to choose the management services of Inside Gaming.
Formed in 1997 at the dawn of the online gambling
industry, Inside Gaming (also known as Inside Track
and IG) has established itself as a fully
transparent operator of online casinos, and has
worked with esteemed gambling operators such as Rank
Plc. IG has a strong presence in Curacao, Asia and
London, and is expanding their global presence day
by day.
Chief Executive of
Better, Ian Hogg, referred to Chartwell's new 32
Card Poker game as one which calls for faster
hand-to-hand action, thus increasing the excitement
and entertainment of the game in general.
Being such a new offering, Better Casino does not
have any game previews on their site as of yet,
although it is safe to say the game closely
resembles the table set of Better's 3-Card Poker
game (using 52 cards).
