It has been officially confirmed that online betting
site, BetOnSports, has bought out MVP Sportsbook,
Player Super Book and the sportsbook and casino
V-Wager for approximately $37 million. The
deal expands the BOS network of online casinos,
sportsbooks, poker rooms, bingo halls and racebooks
to a broadened U.S. based market.
Paying approximately
$20 million up front (over $15 million in cash), and
a conditional payment of up to $16.8 million in cash
based on the profitability of the businesses through
the coming year, BetOnSports has established
themselves as a leading network of highly
recognizable online gambling sites catering to
American gamblers.
These days, the biggest
and best online sportsbooks are ones that also offer
online casino games, a poker room, race book, and
even lotto and bingo games. The BOS network
has made a name for itself by offering all of this
and then some. Despite some past concerns with
their casino software of choice - Real Time Gaming -
the company has proven itself to not only be trusted
and reliable, but to cater to the wishes of their
players.
A few upper management
positions changed as a result of the acquisitions.
However, their were no major changes, and online
business is going forward as usual. Despite an
increase in favorite NFL wins, financial analysts
for BOS are expecting normal company returns to
settle in place and correlate to previous years
gambling trends.
