Called the "New Chance for a New Generation", the project expects to be finished in early 2006.  Efforts are currently being made to build a school with a garden to help feed its future students.  The foundation has already been dug with the help of a local football team in exchange for a soccer ball and twelve uniform kits.  Other local workers are pitching in to help organize and build the school, including the village headman who donated the piece of land the school will be built on.

With Slotland donating the initial funds to get the project underway, supplies are already being purchased to make the school a reality.  According to Project Coordinator, Tereza Mirovicova, knowledgeable builders have already been hired, and supplies like building tools, iron sheets, gravel, planks and cement are already being purchased.  It will be no time at all before the children of Juma will be given a chance that unfortunately is not a widespread opportunity for children in the poorer areas of South Africa.

A spokesperson for Slotland commented that it was important for the online casino to share its success and to be part of a good cause that is often taken granted for in the Western world.  Education is a fundamental ingredient in ending poverty, especially in South Africa.  With the construction of schools, Slotland knows they are doing their part and that they are saying thanks for the resources that have been made freely available to them.
