Titan Online Poker Room Hosts $2.5 Million European Championship

iPoker Network's largest online poker room, Titan Poker, has announced they will be hosting the European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP) at the end of this year. Guaranteeing $2.5 million in cash prizes, the ECOOP will be home to one of the largest internet poker jackpots, serving as a testament to continued growth of the iPoker network.

There certainly  is no denying that Titan, who uses Playtech's high-grade poker software platform, is one of the top performing poker rooms not only on Playtech's booming poker network, but on the internet poker tournament sector and overall online betting industry as a whole. Having taken off in the European sector this last year, it suits Titan well to be hosting the high-stakes European Championship.

Buy-ins and sit 'n' go qualification tournaments are two ways of getting into the tournament, which will officially begin near the end of November. Spanning ten consecutive days in which Titan Poker will be giving out a large cash prize every day, the tournament will culminate with the $1 million jackpot main event on December 9. Much like the World Series of Poker is known for, tournament bracelets will be awarded during several stages of the tournament. And for the icing on the cake, a $50,000 free roll will take place on December 10th, in which the top 50 finishers will get a free entry into.

Qualifier tournament buy-ins start at just $2 + $.20, which is a pretty small investment if one is lucky and skilled enough to make it through the challenging qualifiers leading to the main event. Titan Poker is currently hosting their World Poker Challenge, in which 50 players will compete for a new Porsche and $50,000. $6 million prize pools are guaranteed every month at Titan Poker, where daily, weekly and monthly tournaments take place round the clock.
