If you are planning a trip to India and are a big
fan of casino gambling, you may want to look into paying Nepal a visit.
Actually, as beautiful a place as Nepal is - nestled amidst the pristine
Himalayan mountains - you will want to pay Nepal a visit whether you like to to
gamble or not. There are actually several casinos to choose from in Nepal (eight
total), all of which are owned by Nepal's casino king and U.S. expatriate, R.D.
Tuttle. Now, Nepal will be getting another casino - this time at the popular
Hotel Malla in Kathmandu.
According to the Economic Times, Tuttle is
currently making plans to build a ninth casino at Hotel Malla, which was
recently awarded with a five-star rating. Sources close to Nepal's casino
management body, the Nepal Recreation Centre, have apparently divulged the
information since it is a well known fact that five star hotels are permitted to
open casinos in India.
Furthermore, it is rumored that Tuttle is making
plans to build a tenth casino in the seaside are of Goa, India. Apparently, this
casino will be a floating edifice in the Arabian Sea - a joint venture with a
local company says the Nepal Recreation Centre.
The Hotel Malla is does indeed seem to be a
wonderful place to stay in Kathmandu. Based on questionnaires filled out by
travelers who have stayed at Hotel Malla, Saga Holidays have ranked the hotel
sixth place in the Saga Travelers World Top Ten Awards. And considering the
remoteness of the location, Hotel Malla certainly has an extensive offering of
"luxurious" amenities, including a health club, sauna, steam baths, Jacuzzi,
massage, barber shop, beauty parlor, shopping arcade and sight seeing
assistance.
